Monday Morning Boost
There’s almost no greater way to start your day (especially on a Monday!) than with a power smoothie. As you know the way you start your day most of the time can have a massive impact on your mood. We believe starting your morning full of energy, with positive affirmations and a healthy intake of nutrition is the best way to go. Give this power smoothie a go and watching your magic unfold!
Morning Power Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana (or substitute with berries of your choice)
- 1/4 cup almonds
- 1 cup water (or substitute the almonds and water for almond milk, we prefer to make our own!)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons wholegrain oats
- 1-2 tablespoons golden sea moss
Instructions:
- If using whole almonds, soak them in water overnight or for a few hours to soften.
- Combine all ingredients in a blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy, adding more water if necessary to reach your desired consistency.
- Pour into a glass or shaker and enjoy immediately or on your way to work.
